Baker Tilly Denmark Strengthens its BPO Services with the acquisition of Dansk Retail Services ApS

Effective 1 May 2018, Baker Tilly Denmark has acquired Dansk Retail Services, strengthening its process-oriented system solutions for owner-managed businesses. As a result of the acquisition, Jørgen Callesen, owner of Dansk Retail Services, joins Baker Tilly Denmark as partner and head of the firm’s business process outsourcing (BPO) services.

Dansk Retail Services specialises in the automation of financial management, accounting services and payroll administration for SMEs. The company has 15 employees, including its own system developers who ensure that the most effective solutions are implemented and maintained. The company has been providing tailor-made BPO services to its clients since 2005.

The acquisition is part of Baker Tilly Denmark’s strategy to be among the leading companies within digitisation and automation of processes related to BPO services, including the implementation of robotic process automation (RPA) for SMEs.

Following the acquisition, Baker Tilly Denmark now employs 115 people.
